Trading Gold (XAUUSD) on the 1-minute time frame can be a profitable and exciting way to capture the market movements. First, I will explain the parameters and assumptions that I used for testing the strategies. I used 1000 candles for each strategy, which is equivalent to 1000 minutes of trading. I also assumed that if a trade does not reach the stop loss or take profit level within 2 hours, it will be closed by the EA and a new trade will be opened in the opposite direction. I tested different combinations of stop loss (SL), take profit (TP), and trailing stop levels, ranging from 15 to 82 pips for SL and TP, and from 0.2 to 0.5 for trailing stop.
The results are shown in the table below. The table shows the number of trades, the maximum drawdown (MaxDD), the win rate, the profit/drawdown ratio (P/D), the total profit, and the profit per day (PDP) for each strategy.
